Sheridan’s journey to becoming a prominent voice in technology and diversity is both remarkable and unconventional. After leaving school at 16 due to undiagnosed dyslexia, she worked as a successful model in London, Milan, and Paris. As a single mother, she returned to education, earning a degree in Psychological Sciences, and went on to build a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2002, Sheridan completed her MBA at Imperial College London, which sparked her passion for technology and innovation. She joined Accenture in 2004 as a Senior Manager, delivering large-scale technology programmes, particularly in healthcare, before moving to PwC UK in 2010.
In recent years, Sheridan has been widely recognised for her work in technology and inclusion. She founded Tech She Can in 2018, which now partners with over 200 organisations to address gender imbalance in the tech sector. In 2020, she was awarded an MBE for services to young girls and women through technology. She has served on advisory boards for the Institute of Coding, L’Oréal UK & Ireland, and the City of London Corporation. In 2024, Sheridan was named Computer Weekly’s Most Influential Woman in UK Tech, following her recognition as a top-five finalist in previous years. Her accolades also include the TechUK President’s Award and Business Woman of the Year from Forward Ladies.
Organisations hire Sheridan for her authenticity, resilience, and ability to inspire transformative change. Drawing from her personal journey and professional achievements, she delivers powerful messages on the importance of diversity, inclusive leadership, and driving innovation.
