Cassie Kozyrkov is a globally recognised AI luminary and former Chief Decision Scientist at Google, where she pioneered the field of decision intelligence and shaped how the world’s largest tech company uses data to make smarter choices. Today, she is the Chief Executive Officer of Kozyr, a consultancy uniting artificial intelligence, behavioural science, and strategy to help organisations make better decisions. In 2023, she was appointed to the Innovation Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, advising on the impact of AI on financial markets and global policy.
During her time at Google, Cassie became one of the company’s most influential technical leaders. She joined in 2014 as a statistician, training more than 20,000 employees on data-driven decision-making and advising over 200 product teams. By 2017, she was Technical Director of AI and Data and then Chief Data Scientist in the Office of the CTO, becoming the youngest ever member of that elite group. The following year, she was promoted to Chief Decision Scientist—the first person to hold that title at Google—where she co-authored the company’s Technical Director Training Programme and embedded data literacy into its global culture.
Her earlier career combined research and academia. She studied a PhD in Neuroeconomics at Duke University and a PhD in Mathematical Statistics at North Carolina State University, where she also lectured. Before that, she worked at the University of Chicago as a PM at the Center for Cognitive and Social Neuroscience and as a research assistant to economist Professor John List.
A prolific writer and communicator, Cassie has published more than 200 articles in outlets such as Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Entrepreneur, and Fast Company. She has been a keynote speaker for the World Economic Forum and the United Nations, appeared on the front cover of Forbes AI, and was named the #1 writer in AI on Medium for seven consecutive years. Recognised as a LinkedIn Top Voice for five years and honoured as a Few-Glasson Distinguished Alumna by Duke University, Cassie continues to shape global understanding of AI, decision-making, and the future of intelligent leadership.
Cassie Kozyrkov is hired as a leading AI keynote speaker for her rare ability to blend deep technical insight with human understanding.
