After obtaining a BA in Economics and an MBA in Strategy & Marketing, Dag set out on creating his illustrious reputation in the technology sector. From the very early days of his career, Dag has had significant involvement in the mobile phone industry, first working as the Vice President of Telenor Mobile in 2000. Working with Telenor Mobile, Dag began to pioneer the face of mobile technology developing their internet portal. Making his mark, Dag was able to create the first dynamic mobile home screen in the world.
Leaving Telenor Mobile in 2002, Dag went on to work as General Manager of Motorola. Once again Dag sat at the helm of the mobile phone industry, pioneering and founding the SCREEN3 mobile app. This early experience gained Dag great credibility, gaining invaluable experience of digital disruption and artificial intelligence along the way. In January of 2008, Dag took on his next big challenge honing his genius to create and co-found Siri technology. Now widely known for being one of the masterminds behind the first virtual phone assistant, Dag designed the tech giant at the Stanford Research Institute before it was sold to Apple in 2010.
After Apple brought Siri from Dag, he was recruited as the Director of iPhone Apps for Apple. Working with the industry-dominating brand, Dag was able to pioneer the future of virtual assistants and helped the improvement of the speech recognition of the software to be used with the IOS devices. Inspired by the success of his first start-up, Dag later went on to co-found Viv Labs in 2012. Another intelligent interface, Dag was once more at the helm of the virtual assistant sector and his tech was ultimately brought by Samsung.
After Viv Labs was acquired by Samsung, Dag was employed as the Vice President of Samsung and was once again sitting at the helm of the mobile phone and technology industry. Having set the standards for the future of mobile virtual assistants, Dag is now sought as an international and globally renowned keynote speaker and currently the co-founder and CEO of Riva Health.
