Expert businessman and economist, Chavan Bhogaita, is the Managing Director and Head of Market Insights and Strategy at First Abu Dhabi Bank. With over 25 years of professional experience in banking and finance, Chavan is an expert in topics such as credit research, analysis, financial markets, economic trends and corporate recovery. An incredibly experienced individual, with over two decades worth of knowledge to boast, Chavan has taken on roles that include Head of Middle East Credit Research at HSBC (Dubai), Head of Credit Research at Commerzbank (London), and senior credit analyst at Bear Stearns (London), as well as working for NBAD’s Global Markets Division in the Alternative Investments and Fixed Income division.
