Despite having left school with no qualifications, Stella would show her drive, determination and talent to climb the corporate ladder. Prior to appearing on the hit TV show, The Apprentice, Stella had held a position as Head of Business Management at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd for five years. Having had significant experience in the investment banking and financial services sectors, she was primed for her TV debut on the sixth series of The Apprentice. Due to Lord Sugar's ties with Labour during the General Elections in 2010, the series was instead broadcast in 2011.
Sixteen candidates took to the show, following thousands of auditions taking place around the country. She proved to be an astute entrepreneur, who would play a central role in the challenges that were to come. In episode 11, the interview stage, when Stella was interviewed by Lord Sugar's most trusted aides, she was deemed one of the strongest candidates in the contest - based on comments from the interviewers, thus putting her in the final to face off against Chris Bates.
In the final, Stella would assemble a team from former candidates on the show to create a premium alcoholic drinks brand for the final task. Stella received compliments for her brand of bourbon whisky aimed at a female audience. Overall, both in the task and the competition as a whole, she was deemed the best candidate and she eventually won the show and was offered the role of Lord Sugar's apprentice.
Following her victory, Stella worked as Commercial Manager for YouView TV Limited, Lord Sugar's digital top box company, before leaving due to deciding the role wasn't what she had in mind. She would quickly move on to become Chief of Staff at financial services company, Citi in 2012, before becoming a Management Consultant at computer giant, HP.
Since then, Stella has settled into life as a single mother and has been sought by numerous businesses and associations to speak at corporate events and functions.
