Saira Khan is a TV presenter, businesswoman, motivational speaker, author and entrepreneur. A contestant and runner up on the first season of the iconic BBC 2 show The Apprentice, Saira has forged her legacy as a television personality since then. Saira received an MA in Environmental Planning from the University of Nottingham in 1995. Once she got off The Apprentice, Saira served as the Managing Director of her own company called Miamoo. However, before the show, Saira worked in Sales and did exceedingly well in her role, whether it was as a Sales Executive or a Sales Director. She has worked with clients like Burton’s Biscuits, McVities and KP, Workthing.com and Yell. Saira currently runs her own skin care brand called SairaSkin.
As a presenter, Saira has truly made a mark for herself through her role as presenter on shows like The Martin Lewis Money Show, Beat the Boss, Trade Your Way to USA and on documentaries on Pakistan. She has also appeared on shows like Saving Planet Earth, Comic Relief, Tonight with Trevor MacDonald, Question Time, Children in Need and Guess the House. She joined as a Panellist on Loose Women in 2015. A unique personality who is not known to mince her words, she was nominated for the Services to Media award at the British Muslim Awards. An author too, Saira has written a self-help book called “P.U.S.H For Success” in 2006 that teaches people how to be proactive, understand themselves and others.
