Famed for starring in Channel 4’s Hunted and Celebrity Hunted, Ben Owen is a training and development expert with extensive knowledge in cybersecurity, covert operations and counter fraud. With previous experience working in Government security and for the RAF, Ben is now booked as a speaker for a range of corporate events to help them better their cybersecurity practices and risk management.
Back in 2000, Ben was a member of the Royal Air Force, joining the Armed Forces at just 17 years old. Deployed in operations across the globe, Ben worked in locations such as Cyprus, Iraq and Kuwait, completing peacekeeping and internal security operations. After six years in the forces, Ben left to work as a Senior Operations Manager for Government Security and Intelligence Services. Building his expertise in risk management, Ben then went on to become the Senior Operations Leader of Prospect Legal Limited, a role in which he directed covert investigations of online cyber intelligence and provided evidence to authorities of major fraud rings in the UK.
Other prominent roles of Ben’s have included being the Operations Manager for Toddington International, the Owner of The Hunter Events, Head of Training for Robertson and Co and Co-Director of EMEA Region for Fortalice Solutions LLC. In his current role at Fortalice Solutions, Ben assists his clients with their requirements in cybersecurity along with consultation on counter fraud. During his time on Channel 4’s Hunted and Celebrity Hunted, Ben was involved in teams nominated for a BAFTA Award and was rated as the no.1 reality show in 2015 by Digital Spy.
With a credible career in security and risk management to his name, Ben is now booked as a speaker for a range of corporate events to share his expertise on cybersecurity and risk.
