Louie’s journey began as a stage, film, and television actor in California, where he appeared in over 35 national commercials. In 1987, he joined The Walt Disney Company, embarking on a 25-year career designing live entertainment experiences and service training programmes. His work was instrumental in shaping Disney's Approach to Quality Service, a core part of the Disney Institute’s training curriculum. Recognised for his impact, Louie received the Disney Partners in Excellence Award and the Spirit of Disney Award. His time at Disney cemented his reputation as an expert in crafting immersive experiences and fostering exceptional customer service mindsets.
After Disney, Louie transitioned into consulting, designing service campaigns for major companies such as ING Financial, Choice Hotels, Microbac Technologies, Nikon, and The American Council of Independent Laboratories. He led The Bank of America Spirit campaign, which became the company’s most successful customer service initiative. In 2014, he joined the opening team for Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando Resort, where he continues to delight audiences as a Master Wandkeeper at the Ollivanders Wand Experience. His expertise in service culture culminated in the publication of his book, Service is a Superpower! (Lessons Learned in a Magic Kingdom), which provides valuable insights into customer engagement and leadership.
