Sharon Warmington is the Founder and CEO of the National Black Governors Network as well as the Founder of the National Association of School and College Clerks. As an expert in corporate and school governance, she has also been the Director of Education Governance Solutions Limited where she was appointed directly by the Department of Education since 2016. Sharon is now available to book as a speaker at several corporate events where she talks about leadership, growth and diversity.
Throughout her life Sharon has witnessed several hardships including abuse, financial instability and homelessness, things that could possibly dampen a person’s spirits. But none of that prevented her from achieving success and she became the Executive Coach and Consultant of Unstoppable Limited – an organisation that aims to help other companies incorporate strategic leadership and increased corporate diversity to achieve growth. Having received a degree in Leadership for Change and Growth from Aston University, it’s no surprise that her business was the recipient of the Business of the Year Award.
Sharon has business experience and knowledge that she uses to consult businesses on implementing target-driven strategies. Invited to speak at events for organisations like NHS, HSBC, Birmingham City University, she uses personal anecdotes to educate audiences on why inclusion is an integral part of any successful business model. Sharon is also responsible for the International Women’s Day Unstoppable Women Leaders’ Conference – that featured women speakers and audiences from over 80 countries around the world.
She has appeared on Dragon’s Den as well and is today the Interim Head of Governance and Company Secretary at Ormiston Academies Trust. Using her platform as a speaker to bring the issues revolving around gender and culture diversity to the forefront, Sharon Warmington is an excellent choice to speak at your next event.
