With his journey to success being so intense, Towers has amassed an incredible amount of surrounding marketing campaigns and investment in which he channels into his motivational speeches to inspire both business professionals and the younger generation.
Ben had no experience whatsoever in business or website building when he was challenged by a family friend to create a website. As a spontaneous and determined eleven-year-old, he took it upon himself to learn the skills he needed through YouTube videos and managed to successfully develop a functioning site. When he was paid £50 as a reward, he realised that he could earn some serious money with his new-found knowledge and went onto secondary school with a budding business.
Having outsourced his work to freelancers whilst he completed his exams, Ben took them on as fulltime and moved all of his team into an office almost as soon as he completed his GCSEs. As he was still in full-time education, Towers became the first ever to employ himself as an apprentice so that he could focus on his own business’ growth. With a new focus on social media, Towers Designs began working with the likes of Amazon Echo, Pot Noodle and NHS Give Blood in various campaigns.
In the early stages of growing his business, Ben was faced with many obstacles in which hindered Towers Designs development. One of the largest issues he came across was when his bank froze his children’s account as too many transactions were being processed for his age group. As he was disallowed a business card, he began using PayPal as a method of payment but this led to similar issues.
With such a unique business story, Ben became the centre of many media stories and was asked to appear on a whole variety of TV shows and speak at high-profile conferences all across the UK. His income increased and he was able to create a multi-million pound merge with Zest The Agency, he saw this through before exiting the business to focus on public speaking and consultancy.
Now using his impressive expertise to offer advice to the likes of GSK and take to national stages to speak at renowned conferences, Ben Towers is considered a leader within his area of expertise. He was named NatWest Entrepreneur of the Year, topped The Times’ Global Super Teen Power List and was entitled one of the UK’s most exciting entrepreneurs by Sir Richard Branson as well as being selected as a junior dragon for CBBC’s spin-off of Dragon’s Den - Pocket Money Pitch.
An inspiration to business professionals and aspiring young people, Ben Towers is ideal for promoting a ‘can-do’ attitude and encouraging more ambition and determination in his audiences.
