Leila Hurstel, Chief Metaverse Officer at Verse Estate, is motivated to contract the gender gap in the tech industry. NFTs, creating virtual worlds and Web3 strategies are just some of her fortes. Leila studied Economics and Business at UCL and completed an online Fintech Innovation and Technology course at Harvard University. She started her career at Deutsche Bank as an Analyst. She was then a part of the Algorithmic Trader Programme at Alphachain Capital after which she became a Member of Board of Advisors at Cyber Gear. In an effort to help brands adjust to the Metaverse and tread carefully when managing the physical and digital convergence, she became a Consortium Member of PHYGICODE. At her current role as Chief Metaverse Officer at Verse Estate, Leila is responsible for bringing hyper-realism to VR and Verse Estate is doing this with their series of exclusive penthouses and villas through NFTs.
It's no secret that there is a gender gap in the tech industry and Leila noticed this throughout her career too. However, she is working towards changing that and founded AllStarsWomen DAO for this very reason.
