Ken Segall is a leading creative director, famed for his role as the former Creative Director of Apple. Having also performed creative work for the likes of IBM, BMW and Intel, Ken is widely regarded as a thought-leader in the creative sector. In 1995, Ken began his career as a Creative Director for Ammirati – working with clients such as BMW and NeXT Computers. He then moved on to become the Creative Director for Ogilvy, working with clients such as IBM Personal Computers and IBM Software. He then went on to work as the Creative Director for Chiat/ Day, who worked with Apple and Steve Jobs to market the iconic Apple products. During his time with Chiat/ Day, Ken was also the Creative Director of the Think Different campaign. Later in 2005, Ken became a Consultant for Apple advising on their strategy, retail and product naming.
Since his time working at Apple, Ken has been the Chief Creative Officer for Enfatico, an Advisor for the Doshisha Business School and an Adjunct Professor at Deakin University Business School. He has also authored two books, titled Insanely Simple: The Obsession That Drives Apple’s Success and Think Simple: How Great Leaders Defeat Complexity. He has also been featured in countless top publications, including The Guardian, The New York Times, CEO Magazine, Wired and Co. Design.
