Currently a member of the British Cycling's Olympic Academy, Andy was previously mentored by Rob Hayles for Team Halfords Bikehut in 2009. In 2015, he moved to a team founded by Bradley Wiggins, named WIGGINS, to prepare for the 2016 Summer Olympics team pursuit.
What is all the more remarkable about Andy’s achievements is that he competed while suffering from a heart condition which was expected to restrict his activities. The fact that he was able to compete is a major reason that Andy volunteers for the British Heart Foundation. As a motivational sports speaker, he discusses the trials and tribulations of competing with a medical condition, covering topics in physical resilience, determination and overcoming challenges to succeed. Popular, inspiring and captivating, Andy is a key addition to a whole host of events, both in business and sporting events.
