After his election, she then served as Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy on the National Economic Council and was a member of the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets and the President’s Working Group on Corporate Governance.
While in The White House, she was responsible for all financial market issues for the President, which included corporate governance, bank regulation, government-sponsored enterprises, mortgages, deposit insurance, terrorism insurance issues, anti-money laundering, and international finance issues. In addition, she was a member of the White House Office of the Homeland Defense Working Group on Terrorism Risks to the Economy.
Following her time in office, Pippa founded The Canonbury Group, through which she has served as an advisor to some of the leading asset managers around the world including traditional fund managers, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, corporations, financial institutions, and family offices.
Other businesses she has founded or co-founded include Principalis Asset Management, the DRPM Group, and H-Robotics, a testament to her knowledge and expertise in the financial industry and with a hint of diversification too. During her after-dinner and keynote speeches, Pippa seeks to provide an overview of global political economy affairs. She enjoys discussing the BRACSS (Brazil, Russia, Australia, Canada, South Africa and Saudi Arabia), believing they are comparatively more interesting than the BRIC economies so often used as a case study.
Pippa’s experience of sitting on highly regarded and influential political councils makes her an ideal choice to host your event or conference, providing speeches conducive to the theme of the event whilst ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time.
