Adriaan Kamp is the Founder and Director of Energy For One World – a boutique consulting firm geared towards delivering Sustainable Energy-Economy Architectures and the UN Sustainable Developments into Sustainable Societies. Instrumental in actioning the Paris Agreement, he is working on the UN Sustainable Development Agenda, making him an expert on all matters related to sustainability and sustainable energy.
Adriaan’s extraordinary resume is enough to demonstrate his dedication to developing sustainable development programmes. In his role as Project and Business Manager at Shell, he worked on the execution of numerous upstream projects in countries like Oman, Syria, Norway, and Scotland. After spending a few years working as Founder and Director of Timespots, and Managing Director of Devote at Fluor, he returned to working as a Business Manager of Upstream Shell International at Shell.
As Director of the Nyenrode Executive Energy Academy at the Nyenrode Business School, he is furthering strategy and decision-making by amalgamating academic thinking on strategy, execution, and organisational change with the experience of practitioners of the energy value chain. He has also been invited to conduct special college classes at Trinity College, Ireland and presented at prof Jeffrey Sachs UN SDSN global working conferences at Columbia University. Author of “Energy for One World”, “Tales of Conversion” and “99 Theses to Build Back Better”, Adriaan has solidified his status as an industry leader.
Having worked in the oil and gas industry the world over, including in the Middle East, USA, China, and India, Adriaan possesses a certain level of expertise in the realm of sustainability, that few others do. He is now available to share more on this and topics such as global change, energy and energy transition as well as leadership over change, when hired as a speaker at a wide range of events.
