Christopher Raymond is the Chief Sustainability Officer of Boeing. His association with Boeing has lasted 33 years and counting. Working at the aviation giant in several capacities, Christopher’s current role sees him advancing the company’s environmental, social and governance priorities. Christopher is now available to speak at a wide range of events where he speaks more about sustainability, aviation, and how to accomplish ESG goals.
With a stellar academic record, Christopher obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from UC Irvine. In 1990, Christopher joined as the Vice President and General Manager of Boeing – a role he managed for 25 years. He then assumed responsibility as the Vice President and General Manager of Autonomous Systems at Boeing.
In 2017, becoming Vice President of the Embraer Integration, Christopher was entrusted with a key responsibility - spearheading the potential strategic partnership between Boeing and Embraer, a Brazilian aerospace company. He did so successfully and was soon promoted to Vice President of Sustainability, Strategy & Corporate Development before assuming his current role. Advocate for the International Aviation Women’s Association, Christopher has also been an Advisory Board Member for the MIT Climate and Sustainability Consortium, the University of Illinois Aerospace Engineering Alumni Board, Dell Technologies and The Heritage Group.
Member of the Clean Skies for Tomorrow Coalition and the World 50 group, Christopher has amassed a great deal of knowledge from his exemplary career.
