Lenora began working as a Human Resources Director for CIGNA Group Insurance as soon as she completed her course in Adult Education. She then worked her way up to being Chief Diversity Strategist at Excel Development Systems, where she was responsible for instating efficient diversity policies and inclusion initiatives for organizations. Lenora then worked in education as a member of Adjunct Faculty of the Bryan School of Business at the University of North Carolina. The bestselling author of Trailblazers and The Diversity Advantage, Lenora is also the first African American lady to be a part of the Speaker Hall of Fame.
As of 2020, Lenora serves as the co-founder of The Inclusive Leaders Institute where she aims to inculcate a fair and inclusive atmosphere for everybody.
