Now, Monty is often booked as an after-dinner speaker for leadership coach for a variety of corporate events, often seen either sharing the tales of his time as an adventurer or delivering top tips on how organisations can better their leadership strategies.
Best known for his television presenting, Monty Halls was the presenter of Monty Halls’ Great Escape, Monty Halls’ Great Irish Escape and Monty Halls’ Hebridean Escape. A trained marine biologist, Monty is also an avid naturalist and has lead teams in some of the most remote areas of our planet, when filming his wildlife documentaries or when leading explorations to places such as the sunken city of Mahabalipuram. After he left the services, Monty began his studies to become a Marine Biologist- graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology. From that point on, Monty became heavily involved in exploration, working for Coral Cay Conservation charity, leading expeditions such as the Shoals of Agulhas expedition for Land Rover.
Monty has enjoyed many more presenting roles, including WWII’s Great Escapes: The Freedom Talks, Perfect Weapon, Great Ocean Adventures, Great Barrier Reef, My Family and the Galapagos and many more. He has also committed to charity work, having been a Patron of the Shark Trust and Help For Heroes. He has also claimed some awards during his career, such as the Bish Medal for Service to Exploration and the Outstanding Contribution to Diving Award.
Now booked as a speaker for corporate events, Monty is commended for his inspirational talks and has previously spoken for the likes of the Keswick Mountain Festival and The Adventure Travel Show. Using his experience of leadership from the Royal Marines, Monty is now specialising in corporate leadership coaching and shares tales of the groups that he has worked with all over the world. Having spoken at a variety of events, from small after-dinner speeches to large international conferences, Monty is a confident and seasoned speaker passionate to help leaders flourish and improve leadership in all corporate settings.
