Katy Leeson has built a career defined by sharp commercial instincts and a genuine interest in how people think and behave. She began in media planning at Feather Brooksbank, then spent a decade at MediaCom North as the Head of New Business & Marketing, a Business Development Controller and a Senior Account Manager, moving through senior roles in account management, business development and marketing. During this period, she also supported causes close to her values, fundraising for Smart Works and advising Prevent Breast Cancer. Her work helped charity partners clarify their messaging so they could reach women who needed practical support.
Katy became the UK Managing Director of Social Chain in 2017, marking a decisive shift. At Social Chain, she helped the agency scale from a small team of 30 to more than 130, working closely with Steven Bartlett to build one of the most recognised social media agencies in the UK. She strengthened its culture, refined its commercial model and guided campaigns for global clients. The experience set her up for her role as CEO of Relentless Group in 2022, where she worked within Gary Neville’s organisation to grow Salford City FC’s fanbase and launch The Overlap, which became one of the country’s most successful sports channels on YouTube.
Katy continued to broaden her expertise, stepping into fashion as Marketing Director at NADINE MERABI in 2024, supporting the brand through rapid international growth. In 2025, she co-founded Blank Space Content Studios, helping ambitious businesses build confident brands through smart creative and content strategy. Across every role, she has focused on how people want to work and live, shaping environments where teams feel valued and motivated.
