A Doctor of Science, having graduated in Maths and English, Ian has gained a lot of experience in engineering from aeronautics to cybernetics. Most notably, he spent 4 years in missile design and 22 years as British Telecom’s futurologist.
Ian specialises in offering world class advice and innovation to organisations of all sizes. He has delivered talks at various events from all over Europe. Ian will identify and explain the key changes in every area of business and society as a result of the rapidly changing technology industry.
During his career, Ian has authored eight books and has appeared on over 750 TV and radio programmes. He is also a chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science and the World Innovation Foundation.
In more recent years, Ian set up his own company Futurizon, where he assists companies to develop and implement their own ideas to use in PR, marketing and much more.
