Jas Hawker is a talented former Royal Air Force pilot, credited for being the youngest pilot to fly the Tornado aircraft in enemy territory and leading the infamous Red Arrows. After joining the Royal Air Force at aged 18, he was selected as the Commanding Officer of the RAF Aerobatic Team, otherwise known as the Red Arrows, in 2007, initially being chosen for the team in 1999. In this role, he is responsible for the risk and safety management of the pilots. Within the airforce, Jas was renowned for his leadership qualities, including his ability to problem solve and team management. Over the course of his position, he led his team across 4 continents, during over 500 public displays, whilst on tours.
He led the Red Arrows on overseas tours to the USA, Middle and the Far East and has performed over 500 public displays. The inspirational Jas has also undertaken a number of non-flying appointments within the Ministry of Defence; advising senior military officers and civil servants on strategic policy and planning issues. He has elite experience developing the high-performance team, the Red Arrows, a group of pilots who are regarded as world-leading formation aerobatic team.
