Raina Brands, an Associate Professor at the UCL School of Management, is a PhD in Management that she obtained from the University of Cambridge. Advocating for gender equality in the workplace, she is now available to book as an organisational behaviour keynote speaker at a range of corporate events.
Along with being Associate Professor at the UCL School of Management, Raina has also done extensive research on behavioural impacts, women in leadership and unconscious biases in the workplace. Fresh into the workforce, she worked as an Assistant Professor in Organisational Behaviour at the London Business School. In her time as Faculty at the London Business School, taught her student about how behaviour affects the workplace and focused on subjects like gender stereotypes and inequalities that exist in the workplace.
Raina’s expertise lies in raising awareness in regard to stereotyping of women in the workplace and her research has been featured at international conferences and in publications like The Financial Times, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, The New York Times, and Glamour Magazine as well. Raina is a huge proponent of equality in the workplace and therefore Co-Founded Career Equally, an organisation that works to eradicate bias meted out towards women in companies, thus helping women further their careers without experiencing gender-based discrimination.
