Beginning her career reading for a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Science, Honey achieved first-class honours and an award for her academic research into Problem Solving. It was this stage in her life where she became captivated by the inner workings of the brain and how our behaviours are conditioned through experiences.
Langcaster-James began working with multi-national corporations to apply her psychology-based degree to a business environment before heightening her understanding and studying for a Masters Degree in Work and Organisational Psychology. She finished as the first student in over six years to be awarded a Masters with Distinction and was asked to stay on as a lecturer. She went on to receive a rare award from the British Psychological Society for her qualifying examinations along with a personal commendation from the Chief Examiner.
Honey went on to be both a personal and professional development coach as well as a business psychology consultant. She completed one of the most complex qualifications in psychological coaching and gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Personal and Corporate Coaching. She used her research and developed a unique goal attainment system in which she explains in her TEDx speeches.
With the aim of focusing on his own private practice, Honey completed yet another post-graduate advanced training course in Integrative Therapy. She uses her abundance of qualifications in a variety of ventures including her specialist courses as a lecturer, clinical psychotherapeutic sessions with private clients, media appearances and coaching for businesses.
