A leading tech expert and entrepreneur, Dave Coplin's journey into the field of technology began at Manchester Metropolitan University, achieving a degree in Information Technology in Business. After graduating Dave joined KPMG Global, where he worked as a Macintosh Specialist maintaining and developing the core operating environment. Dave quickly progressed through the ranks, being promoted to Technology Manager in 1995, Director of Technology Architecture in 1997 and finally Director of Technology Architecture and Research in 1999.
Dave was soon able to land a role with the technology giant Microsoft. Spending 12 years with the organisation, Dave worked as Enterprise Strategy Consultant, Senior Engagement Manager, National Technology Officer and Chief Envisioning Officer. His diverse history in the industry has built Dave a reputation as an authoritative and thought-provoking leader as well as an advocate for the future of technology. His time at Microsoft put Dave at the forefront of discussions as to how technology holds transformational power to organisations and businesses worldwide.
With a light-hearted approach to his keynote addresses, Dave is always a well-received speaker at all events.
