Leading journalist, newsreader and TV presenter, Alastair Stewart is one of the most recognised news presenters on British TV. With an incredibly successful career behind him, Alastair has a copious amount of knowledge and experience in the broadcasting and presenting field.
Initially starting his career in the 1970s, he began by working for Southern Television as a reporter, correspondent, presenter and documentary maker, providing him with the experience and insight into a range of different processes within media creation. Whilst at Southern Television, Alastair recorded one of the last interviews with Lord Mountbatten before he was assassinated by the IRA in 1979.
During his 40 plus years in broadcasting, Alastair has taken on roles as a reporter and presenter working with some of the media industry’s leading corporations including ITV, Channel 4, ITN, and the BBC.
