Expert futurist, business leader and adviser, Dave Clark is the current Director of Strategic Development at Beacon and founder of Clark Ventures.
Initially graduating from Bowdoin College in 2000 with a BA in Psychology, Dave quickly developed a friendship with Sir Richard Branson. With the idea of Virgin Galactic at the forefront of his brain, Sir Richard Branson brought in Dave Clark to help build the world's first commercial spaceline and head up Astronaut Relations. During his time as Head of Astronaut Relations, Dave recruited more than 700 people to be among the first space tourists.
After a few years, Dave was asked to join Uber, the internationally successful ridesharing company, to become a senior adviser to the CEO of the company and Head of External Affairs. Dave helped to expand the company into 63 counties around the world before joining eVTOL company Kittyhawk in 2017. As the leader of Strategic Development of the flying car company, dave helped the business in their mission to free the world from traffic.
